Epd...Here is an interesting article from Fortune 4-13-98. Since they were 180 Degrees out of phase earlier in January they probably will be again.

<<The PC market globally is projected at best to show 15% unit growth with price erosion. Given the nature of the world class competitors in the US and ASIA SELL DELL--->

Elwood: Thanks for the reference to the KBRO article. The facts are clear and the analysis believable, however, KBRO is not considering the following,

Dell didn't get to where they are today by not being innovative.

I have to believe that Dell will gamble on their good reputation for further expansion into business market. You see a hint of this with their aggressive approach to servers.

Dell management sees the future and are probably developing plans which will result in an announcement which will stabilize the stock or propel it forward.

Dell will not allow a deterioration of service to finance their future.

In summary, this company sees the hand writing on the wall. Even if they don't the shareholders and investors feel Dell's management will move the stock forward while eating C{Qs lunch. That's what I think they believe and that's why I think the stock will continue to lead the market as a PC company. Short term this stock will probably be neutral to down and has the potential to meet CPQ. I do not have a position in this equity.
