Bruce, <<beautiful day today in Missouri>> The first you've seen grass in 8 months? <VBG> I hope your move to the metals fund pays off and there is more left. There will be a paper asset meltdown one day, but when? My dirty old metals are making me more money lately than some of the "high fliers" I play, something's up. I even bought some silver today, SSRIF, the chart looks interesting. Getting out in the sun is fun, getting investments to pay off even more. The gold forecaster should have an update today. I will post it with a reading later.

Bruce:

Nice day in Illinois too,and I did the same thing, but we had
a fierce wind (75 degrees). I enjoyed the round anyway.

Don't ignore the South Africans. They are dramatically undervalued,
and a couple of them look like they will be excellent proxies for
gold (very cheap "warrants"). Both Randgold (rangy) and Durban
Deep (drooy) moved sharply up on the most recent runup in gold
and corrected, but are poised to shoot up again. Polar bear has
a neat story to tell about Randgold, and I thought I would include
it as well. United Services has a South African fund that is
almost exclusively south african, and it could scream this year.
I am sure that nearly all on this thread are aware of it. I had
forgotten that with respect to the fidelity funds, that you could
get a fill during the day. I have been trading funds as well, and
it seems easier than trying to pick individual stocks, although
like most, I do both.
