I thought the clinical trials that CCSI conducted that were part of the FDA submittal and subsequent approval included such comparison tests with the heel prick. I think I read something back in 1996 that indicated that the Colormate system was tracking at almost a 100% level in comparison to the blood test - and that this "hit rate" was consistent across ethnic groups.
