Rock the Lumpy Stump, As usual you try and take me seriously. When will the light inside that dark chamber you call a brain glower with the thin light of dawn. You are such a piss ant, you get pleasure out of taunting the IOM believers that have made serious investments in this company and pinned their hopes on its success. You are like those guys that tried to break Nancy Kerrigan's leg so Tanya Harding could get into the Olympics, or like that Texan mom who wanted to kill her daughter's competitor as top cheerleader, or better yet like those 11 and 13 year old boys who shot up all the girls at their school because one little girl broke up their friendship/romance. What an absolute baby you are. You have no idea what a mensche is. You posted to me: <<To: David S. (51356 ) From: Rocky Reid Thursday, Mar 26 1998 5:57PM EST Reply # of 51464 Wow. Talk about a sore loser. IOM ends each day on its low, and the cranks really start showing their true colors. David, you are obviously in way over your head here. If I were you, I would get out of the stock market entirely tomorrow. You're obviously not emotionally mature enough to handle the pressures involved. Take up kite flying. Or gardening. Something that won't get your blood pressure up in a boil. Oh, incidentally, my IOM funds seem to be increasing each day as IOM ticks down. We are now in the $6's. Do you wish you could have sold in the $7's now?>> Let's put it this way, I have only 2000 shares of IOM at a cost basis of about 7.75 (from last Dec. of 1996). That modest position is important to me intellectually, but not financially. Even if it went down to the $4.80 price you mention, I won't cry. It constitutes less than 3% of the stocks I actively manage and about 1% of my total portfolio. Three, four years ago I bought a similar position in INTC warrants; with several splits and a recent conversion to stock, that position is now worth 25 times my original cost. If you ever do as well on anything in your life, you would be on your knees praying to some god every day. Let me tell you, it will never happen to you. Why, because you are a born loser, and your only pleasure in life is trying to make others more miserable than you are. I have no intention of getting out of the market or out of Iomega, although I am not married to IOM or even INTC. But I see IOM having the growth potential of an INTC although they are at a much more infantile stage. But despite their troubles lately, I am not boiling over. Indeed, I have low blood pressure and am generally laid back so to speak. Toying with your foolish ass is just an exercise in internet cybertalk, hoping that I can goad you into taking a hike, or at least to direct your constant drivel in a worthwhile direction. This is leisure activity for me. My fortune is already assured, and if my gene probe patents come through, (the university is paying) I'll be in even better shape. So don't you fret about me. Nothing that happens with IOM is going to hurt me. I'm just here to nurture it along if it is capable of the growth potential that I see. But I am a shareholder, not a parent, if they fail, tisk task, I'm gone to greener pastures. You need to care for your psyche, it is a pile of crap. The time you spend here is only reinforcing your own negativism. Your writings reveal a creative potential, but you seem to have made a Faustian or philosophical contract with the devil, whatever that is. What a waste of talent. Get a life, Rock the lump, go hump someone, make a child and take a positive attitude on life. It can be quite rewarding. When I dream, I fly. It's a high. Bye, bye. Regrets, David S. Long on Intel, Iomega and WorldCom
