Thanks so much for the update. It's wonderful to know that others
are waiting patiently but also attempting to access information. I have
called Kim several times and have received information to watch the SUNGOLD reports. He hasn't failed me yet. Does anyone know
how many shareholders attended the Annual Meeting? Thanks

Just a few thoughts.......
Living in Michigan, approximately one to one and a half hours from any of the Casino's here (Windsor being closest and Soaring Eagle in Mount Pleasant being a little further), The Indian run Soaring Eagle is by far the nicest, and most accommodating. Any time we have gone it has been practically full to capacity. The place is gigantic!!! They are in the process of building an enormous hotel attached to/along side of the casino. I can only imagine how wonderful the Sungold casino will be when it's done. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it. The invitation to a pre-opening party is still open.

In Mount Pleasant no alcohol is allowed in the casino. Anybody willing to venture a guess if it will be the same with SGGNF?

Thanks for indulging me.

John and others,

I have been into Sungold since May of 95. It has been a long road thus far with little to show. And while the brass ring seems so close I fear that it is actually still out of reach.

I had been hopeful that construction of one of the projects would have begun this summer. However, this does not appear to be the case. From the information that I have gathered, and my own experience in the development and construction businesses it appears to me that we will not see any construction this year.

While it may appear I am negative at this point, I assure you that I am still very much positive on Sungold. And, I would love to be wrong on my assessment of the construction start ups but if I am not I hope people can hold up a little longer. I believe the brass ring will not come around again until spring 99 but I do believe it will come. I also hope that as time marches on towards next spring we will see share value increase.

So, fellow shareholders, hang in and hang tough. Sungold has a very solid management team and fantastic plans in the works. It just may take a bit more time.

Sincerely,

Mike H
