Good point! It has already been stated that Apple is experiencing a surge in upgrades due to the price/performance improvement due to G3. Upgrades in software with Adobe runs at <$100 whereas new software runs $600 to $1k.

At this writing it appears that the Adobe news has not affected AAPL.

Also, there is the known CEO news. The much sweetened offer from the BOD to Steve'o is indicative of a very positive quarter. Wall Street will not ignore this indicator and will hold positions. The current swings in AAPL are evidence of the level of short term interest in the stock. This means greater swings on relevant news. Since there was little swing on the Adobe news, the information must lack relevancy.

I would expect some dip at or near close today due to end of quarter. But, there is the possibility that Steve'o will announce before Monday. For that reason, many normal sellers will rest on AAPL this weekend.
