Hi Sparkle,
I'm not the most dispassionate person to ask about SE because I am long the stock and the options and I love the industry. IMHO, this company is a long term established leader in the EDI field and is in one of the best parts of it .... business to business networking for commercial transactions.
Agreed that the stock has retreated from the high of its trading band and is now in middle of it. It could go as low as 44 and not break any trendline. I consider it a buy in this range. After all, nothing goes straight up like we did from 35 in mid January to 50 earlier this month. The stock has to absorb all the selling from those who had all those short term profits, so I think we are just retrenching.
I have a nice profit in my remaining shares (I sold some shares and bought some July and October calls to maintain my position) and now I have some very good profits in my calls too.
All in all I am happy with my position and would be a buyer again in the low 40s. I don't know what you paid for your April 45s but my guess is that we will be well over 45 by April 17.
Good luck
