I visited the CCUR web site and read the section on Y2K.
If the company has solutions for it's products, why not get into the Y2k market? It's such a hot market. Seems any company that says it has answers in this arena shoots up in price.
I realize that VOD is the main thrust for CCUR but if they have the solutions, why not? What am I missing?

regards,
Hank

Ken,

I have a trading account and an investment account. I change my mind when the tape tells me there is a high probability that the stock has approached a short term high or low. I don't change my opinion on the short term direction just for the hell of it. If you buy something and never sell it you don't make any money do you? I can show you example after example of round trippers and I know many people who have taken the ride. I suspect even you have, I know I have in my earlier investing days. That is why I split my funds up and trade a portion of my position. I must admit that right now my trading account is empty and the cash is in the bank. If the stock goes down to my target, I'll repurchase. If it doesn't I be quite happy with my investment position and my next big decision will be when to start unloading my investment position because it will soon be a long term gain. There, now you know a little bit about me and how I think.

In this article it mentions Sun's realtime system was purchased from a company named Chorus. Somehow I get the feeling seeing all the big names that the big boys have it all locked up and the only way CCUR can participate in cable is to be bought out. I hope I am wrong. Any comments? wired.com
