Jerry,

I feel that this sector has already corrected for the most part. It's near the bottom of IBD's sector rankings for example. Asia, overcapacity, declining earnings are all known and priced into most of the sector members.

If some new and unexpected shock hits the sector (INTC files for Chapter 11, e.g. [VBG]), then AMAT, NVLS, KLAC, ASMLF either haven't fallen as far as others or haven't fallen much at all. Only problem is that there are very good reasons for their relative valuations.

In any case, never ask a bull a bearish question. Perhaps someone else can be of more help.

Best regards,
Ian.

Hey OJ,

Iwas beginning to get worried about my Apr PUTS...but as expected KLAC warned...Now if I could only get AMAT to capitulate. I'm also very suspect of MOT move yesterday and am looking at the MOTQL May 60 PUTS...I believe earnings out tomorrow and the restructuring was a way to soften the blow and out look going forward. Glad to see your PFE going straight up<gg>...The Y2k sector is exploding and my SYNT MAST TAVA and CHRZ looking real good here..

be well,

johnny
