Stitch, you have to look for the Archaeologist Jannine Kimball through a search engine and go to the various references. She is a well-respected scholar who teaches at Berkeley and has done research on Indo-european nomadic peoples who apparently have been discovered as mummies (now in museums) in parts of China. The fabrics on the mummies were preserved and represent current clan patterns in Scotland. The weaving was quite fine; I saw some photographs in a documentary. I was fascinated and still do not know what to make of it. I suspect that much of history as we know it should probably be re-written and could be if it weren't for the various political pressures which mitigate against revisionism throughout the world's power structures. dulane
