Chris, RE: MICROSOFT
The money is one thing. What bugs me is the hundred or so hours I have spent, beginning first with MSN, then separating most of Office, then wrestling with Explorer, and then trying to uninstall it and get the machine back to normal. Trying their help page was a disaster. Go to solve one problem and they refer you to an instruction, you punch it in and a little message says, "not available" or it merely sits there and does nothing.
Never had these problems with any other company. At least I had the joy of telling them what I thought about them. Never had one response from about 15 tries via EMail, feedback, or snail mail. What a bunch of shitheads.
