That is a tough call...Since Market Makers study where all the stops are set, they can take a stock down, get your shares and then move the stock back up again...Take TLSP....I sold at 6.43, entry was at 4 5/16...On the day after its big move, they took the stock all the way back to 5 5/8 before it settled around 6 1/2 for the day...What I try to do is set a mental trailing stop, to preserve profits when one of my stocks is on an upmove. It must be adjusted daily if the stock continues to move up..However, I will admit, that pride has destroyed me on a couple of profitable trades, because I didn't take my profits at the designated trailing stop location, and a profit became a loss..Once in a while I will set a stop order, when I am a bit edgy about a stock that has gotten way ahead of itself, and I am off at work...Mark
