WHAT: IBM Global Telecommunications and Media Industries is
hosting a booth walk-through for the media at the NAB98
Convention in Las Vegas. During the walk-through, IBM
Global T&M Industries will announce agreements with a top
news network and a major broadcasting company.

WHEN: Monday, April 6
9 a.m.

WHERE: IBM Corp. Booth, No. S2318, Sands Exposition Center.

WHO: Bill Moses, vice president, broadcasting, cable and
sports, will host the booth walk-through and will be
available for comment.

MORE: IBM will demonstrate for media a number of specific
broadcast industry technology solutions for the creation,
management and distribution of content in a rapidly
evolving digital environment.

IBM executives and representatives -- including members
of IBM's newly formed Media & Entertainment Consulting
practice -- will be available for comment to discuss IBM's
role in the broadcast and media industry. IBM's booth
walk-though will be catered.
