Baird, from what I remember the article didn't say prices would go down, just that they likely won't go up much until the stockpiling has been worked through. I read it this morning on my other machine (where I bookmarked the link). I'll try to remember to post the link tomorrow.

It is the opinion of one publication. Doesn't mean they are correct.

Stable prices at this level would apparently be good for the drillers anyway, as others have pointed out, as the $16 level encourages consumption while not inhibiting expenditures for exploration/production.

Anyone else subscribe to "George" oil news ?
