Marketbrief.com :

You stated that ATF:vse was in a classic Magee bull flag pattern - a pullback for 2-4 days then a runup.
I am realizing that I must improve my understanding of charts - and your posts have been excellent - so, if you don't mind, I'll ask what may seem a basic question.
Do stocks follow well defined chart patterns regardless: of the information released to the public, the intrinsic value of the product or service, the historical successes or failures of the company?
In other words - would ATF bounce back simply because that's what stocks do given all the variables that create a bull flag chart?
I look forward to your website - I live in Vancouver and I have been wanting to become a trader myself - however, people I know in the industry tell me a story very similar to yours - women are not welcome, and I know of one female trader who lost her house because she was setup (by other brokers in her own company) to teach her a lesson. Is it really that bad out there?
TIA Sechelt.
