I forgot to add that DACOM owns transponders on Loral's Orion 3 sat to be launched later this year. They are paying $89 million, so this might be another way to raise cash. They could sell them back to Loral, I would imagine, in a heartbeat. Loral would love more Asian Ku-band transponders. Only wrinkle is that DACOM made a deal with Rupert Murdoch recently to start DTH broadcasting in Korea. That may sway them to keep the transponders. Who knows--they do appear desparate for cash.
