I think they probably sold a ton of it. There is a lot of interest in the CF world over this drug and the results of the test were presented at several CF conferences during the past year (where a lot of clinicians gathered). They also had a sales force ready and waiting since last Fall. Also, the inventory channel in the pharmacies and CF centers had to be filled regardless of demand. But I think demand will be high, my gosh, there hasn't been a new drug for CF in about twenty years! Anyway, just my opinion.

To all: I am new to the thread, but can tell you I recently purchased tapes from the Informed Investors Forum (go to news for PGNS on Yahoo and you'll see releases referring to the conference in mid March) that is audio of a presentation by Scott Crossen, PhD of NationsBank Montgomery Securities.

He is seemingly extremely high on the co. His original projections had sales of TOBI at $8 million this quarter. He indicated they had sold $10 million in Jan & Feb. alone. He is looking for a blow out quarter.

He also indicated that TOBI is fully reimbursable and that "home brews" have made no dent in volume.

I'm reasonably certain you can still order the tapes from Informed Investors Forum for $25.00 if you're interested. Features Crossen's biotech overview and CEO/CFO's of 5 presenting cos. (did not include PGNS).
