Shane and others:
Will the announcement by INTC that it will buy back up to 100 million
shares of stock be helpful to semi stocks in general and LSI in particular ? With INTC spending billions ($ 75 x 100 million shares)
there obviously will be far less available to expand into new areas of
technology. (Or is this just wishful thinking on my part) ? This news
does suggest to me that INTC will not be completing any major acquisitions (ie LSI) in the next year.
