Winston,
FYI, I have been investing consistently in AMAT in my retirement
portfolio on a monthly basis for over 5 months, however that
investment pales in comparison to what I have in "safe haven"
investments sitting on the sidelines waiting for bargain prices
to come. I simply refuse to pay more than I feel is "fair value"
regardless of market sentiment. I'm glad that many are making
some money on tech momentum for the moment, hopefully they will
recognize it for what it is, and look down the throat of a
"gift horse" and take some money off the table while it is
there. Nothing wrong with taking profits when available.
Seems to me that we had this same kind of rally early in the
year in '96 and things turned real cold starting in April/May
in nearly an identical tech environment, except that this
time international economic conditions/impact are far worse, IMO.

For now I am content to wait. Yes, I did prime my guns but
elected not to fire a broadside at $33, which was my original
target price, but which I lowered to $31. They are still loaded
but I have removed the primers for the time being. FWIW, I did
call the high stock price in Jan/Feb at around $38 1/2. What will
be the high this time before dropping back again? I think we will
see it today or Monday if the charts/trends follow past performance.

Just my opinion,
BB
