FYI: Dacom is a major pre-launch customer for Orion 3. They bought transponder capacity for DTH in Korea. Looks like they are not immune to the Asian flu. . .

Dacom says to sell GSTRF shares
SEOUL, March 27 (Reuters) - South Korea's Dacom Corp said on Friday it was planning to sell shareholdings in Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd worth $84 million as part of its restructuring plans.
''We are planning to sell our shares in Globalstar, which is listed on the U.S. NASDAQ market,'' a Dacom official said.

He said the shareholdings were worth a total $84 million or 90 billion won at the current foreign exchange rate.

-- POSSIBLE LOST DATA --

\000 The latest move by Dacom is part of a restructuring plan to

reduce its debt-to-equity ratio from 258.5 percent to 150 percent, the official explained.

He said Dacom would sell all 1.2 million of its shares in Globalstar.

Dacom is planning a capital increase of 100 billion won in May and will issue overseas convertible bonds and depository receipts in the second half of this year to meet that goal, he said.
