11/12/97 was almost 4 months ago. Now to think that Dell will suddenly follow suit and drop 96% with Kaufman brother's statement is crazy. This is just simply my opinion from my own observations of Dell over the past 2 years. Dell does have an exceptionally high growth rate for a stock, to that point I agree. But, Dell is also one of the fastest growing companies in the US and its stock is simply a reflection of this. Besides Dell's skyrocketing performance, is the fact that Dell has shown us absolutely no reason to believe that their is nothing fundamentally wrong with the company. Its a fallacy of reasoning to believe that just because Compaq and Intel are having problems that Dell is also expeiriencing similar dilemmas. I'm sorry I just can't see this stock plummeting anytime soon from the knowledge released to date.
