Frank - re: who will be acquired by whom...
hard to say whom of course... but I think that LKON
might be acquired w/in the next yr or so...just a guess.
has popped from .46 to 1 5/8 or so...on steady curve up..
they have award winning stuff..

DGIV - would probably be acquired by a company that wants
to control a part of the Indonesian VoIP area (limited licences
there & they just struck a deal (news today) re: that..)

probably not FTEL - as Frank is too hard headed..

I could go on but...

Will try to answer your long msg to me at some pt..
(the pvt one.)

Frank, another good one is whom will merge with one another. There will be consolidation in this sector, and it will be interesting to see the combinations of seemingly diverse companies to form very powerful grips on certain elements of the market.

Frank, What do you think about Broadcom as a way to play the coming bandwidth explosion, in terms of last mile access to the desktop or tv?
See the Red Herring article at redherring.com
