He wants to get MSFT with gift from parents. It's not Whittington or you nor I, these kids are driving this market this high! Name recognition! Life is funny sometimes, imho, it is.

That was the gist of the Birinyi column in the latest Forbes that was discussed here last week. He rattled off all the stocks he liked - he hit every favorite short of people on this thread except MU <G>. His take was yeah, these stocks are overvalued, but the public is driving the market, and they go for names they recognize.

BPP, this is a weird market. I don't like it too much, but it is interesting. Whittington really wasn't a slimeball, imo; he tried to give a fairly honest opinion to the public (after he front ran to the mutual funds), which is better than half the slime balls out there. Def. a whore, though. What insights do you have about Korea? (elegant segue, I know -g-)
