What's to stop DVD from becoming like CD-ROMs - a commodity?

I agree with the POV that the only things that will get NMBS moving is 1) Christmas and 2) NMBS. For NMBS, press releases, IMO, are for day traders.

NMBS has signed some impressive agreements lately - the question is will it fatten the bottom line? If it does, NMBS is well positioned. If not, then the question becomes does NMBS deserve any higher stock price as a DVD replicator than they did as a CD-ROM replicator during a time when CD-ROMs literally took over the world?
