Geez, if that's the reason, then you bears must really love trading this stock! Not only will you have to worry about good news, but bad too! Whoop! Meanwhile, cheers to all the longs that can sit back and relax. Contemplating retirement if the stock keeps moving up like this :)

There was also a major mail outage last weekend but not a peep about it. That, in itself was worth +2 points on the stock. Great stock, never goes down. C'mon ANALYSTS, lower the earnings to a quarterly loss and we could push this dog back to 100!

The reason AOL stock is up today is attributed to E-mail snag for 25% ot its members
yesterday. About a quarter of its member were without electronic mail service for 15 to
20 minutes at midday because of a technical problem.


I do not understand why this is a reason for AOL to go up. Could you explain?
