Not to mention those of us with Crohn's who follow this thread to find out if there's hope out there.

Yes, I'm here. In fact, just got back from Italy on Saturday. I was hoping for a positive news item coming out of the cardiology conference for an opportunity to gracefully exit CNTO and took the 3 point pop this AM to sell my entire position. Don't get me wrong, I'm still very positive on the company long-term ( I think Avakine is a drug with blockbuster potential ), but I think short-term valuations are stretched both in CNTO and the market as a whole, and I think there will be a great buying opportunity in some of the beaten down tech stocks later this year. It's been the pattern of CNTO to sell off after initially rallying on good clinical study news, and I'm concerned about that happening again this time, and also the possibility of good clinical results coming from competing drugs. I've been very, very luck this year with DEC ( I took your excellent advice to let CPQ pull it up then sold out near the top ), HAL ( got 10 quick points in the last month ) and CNTO, so I guess now its time to just sit back and regroup.

Here are two very speculative companies to look at:

CYPB- has an interesting device for rheumatoid arthritis that I think will be approved by the FDA ( I don't consider it as competitive with Avakine ).

IMII- automated microscopy. I think they'll be bought out by a larger outfit, eg. Abbott, Baxter, etc.

Good luck!

PS. Hold on to your CDG; despite any short term reaction, the oils and the golds will be a good place to be in the next 1-2 years. I sold my HAL only because the quick gain was too tempting not to take, but I'll be back in it again should it retreat.
