Don't forget that Christianity has done much, for obvious reasons, to discredit and make other religions look ridiculous. I won't care to comment on the Hindus' representation of one of their gods looking like an elephant or of another having blue skin etc as I don't know their mythology and, I believe, neither do you. So why discredit another religion merely on something you don't fully understand.

People who don't understand the Crucifixion might well say that Jesus was a nut case (and so darned stupid) and so unmacho-like who allowed himself to be crucified and yuk! what kind of a leader is that? And of the Immaculate Conception of Jesus they might say, "What utter nonsense! Everyone knows that sex is necessary to make a baby. What a bunch of idiots, nuts, crackpots and dreamers." See what I mean. You must have the mythology and the details of it before you can understand why they have so depicted their gods. You have only looked at their representation at 'face value' or literally.

In my travels around the world, I have found that most other religions , with the possible exception of Islam in some countries, are generally tolerant of Christianity, but it seems Christians like you are intolerant or contemptuous of other religions.

I know of a Brahmin (an Indian of the highest caste in Hindu society) who likens the various religions of the world to the various component lights of the solar spectrum (these various components add up to make white light), and that each member of a particular religion has a different ideation of God: it is like he is looking at white light through a coloured filter.

Jesus once said, "Judge not, lest ye be judged."

It is amazing and ludicrous that very many Christians, you included, do not put that into practice.
