PKGP's Subsidiary, APAC, Holds First Ever Advisory
Council Meeting

PLAINVIEW, N.Y., March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Packaging Plus Services, Inc. (OTC Bulletin
Board: PKGP - news) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, the Association of Packagers
and Carriers (APAC), held its first-ever Advisory Council meeting in Las Vegas, NV, March
20-22, 1998.

''This is also the first meeting of its kind in the postal/business services industry,'' Said Nick
DeLeone, President of APAC.

Several high-profile vendors made presentations to the Council on exclusive programs available
only to APAC members. Kodak introduced its new Image Magic Picture Maker, Nova
Information Systems, Inc. discussed special credit card processing rates, and Thrifty Car Rental
outlined the marketing partnership it is developing for APAC members, said DeLeone, who served
as moderator. Other companies presenting their APAC programs to the group were Keena Mfg.,
Atcall, Kittrich, Inc., and Land's End.

The redevelopment of the APAC website, useapac.com, was also enthusiastically discussed.
Reconstruction of the website is scheduled to be completed June 1, 1998.

Richard Altomare, Chairman of Packaging Plus Services, parent company of APAC, also made a
presentation to the Council members expressing his vision of APAC.

The Advisory Council is composed of representatives from all regions across the country and
APAC staff. The Council functions as an advisory body to form strategy, plan goals, and review
vendors to enhance the profitability of APAC members.

''We can no longer 'hang our hat' on any one business to maximize true profit potential and job
security,'' said Council member Allan F. Helmetag of APS Aurora Parcel Services/APS Electronics
in Aurora, IL (Region 4). ''APAC recognizes this need and has set their sites on providing future
business opportunities for parcel centers such as ours... I thought the conference was very
beneficial and informative.''

PKGP's subsidiaries are the Association of Packagers and Carriers, Inc. (APAC) a nationwide
association of independent postal/business centers. The association provides access to business
services and logistically convenient and cost effective delivery of goods worldwide. Packaging Plus'
other subsidiaries are engaged in advertising, logistical services and concierge services.
