There are only two reasons that I can think of for this reaction:
1. The earlier suggestion that AB and other market makers are somehow levitating the stock in order to distribute it at these higher prices to....who? that is what I am NOT sure of unless it is just a shell game between market makers. When the music stocks, the stock falls out of bed.

2. That people are looking to the upgrade cycle which should begin sometime in May or June, I think, then with each of the other major programs over the next year or so, with the big one coming with the Pagemaker replacement. Sort of like why toy makers get strong in the summer and weaker after the Christmas season.

Neither of these makes a whole lot of sense to me, though, as the report was so dismal. However, the market is so "mysterious" in part because it is a discounting mechanism, with all the attendant risks associated with "predicting" the future.
