Silver now up also

I'm not a trader of metals either. But I watch them for the underlying market psychology.

Gramps...well next time the big black box speaks...well you know...let us know......

Cnbc says nothing really going on to have caused the drop

but look we dont have that kind of swift turnaround in this market without something going on

unless we hit some level that triggered some huge sell programs....
I am waiting on the report from Bob Pissssssssani who is always telling us how many buy/sell programs were triggered...still dont know how he figures that out

Nemer,

I had to leave for 30 minutes and when I left the DOW was up around 40 and when I got back, I see negative 30 and the HOT NAZ was also down.

If the DOW closes down today then the the short-term technicals will be in the lower mid-range and approaching oversold. I know, how could it be near oversold. As I have said in the past my system is based on time not price movement as much. If we do close negative today regardless of the amount, then we would have had 4 down days for the DOW in a week. Haven't seen that in a long time. To get to a CLASS buy status, Monday would need to be a down day, at least intraday, but we all know it could pop up at anytime and this is the lowest my short-term technicals have gotten since JAN.

As for next week - who the H*** knows. Seeya
