Your broker is wrong. ACRT has 100% built-in based on the short position alone, much less the fundamentals of the company. Quarterly numbers should be right in line with estimates and the screwing around with this stock should abruptly end.

ACRT is going up because it is way oversold.
Your broker is an idiot for recommending this as a short canidate.
Be prepared to lose some money novice investor.
Are you sure your broker isn't mr. pink?

Rookies like you should stick to mutual funds.
Here's my advice to you, don't play with fire (volatile stocks like ACRT) You will get burned if you don't know what the hell you're doing.

Put your money away in a stock like MSFT, wait 10 years and
you'll be a happy camper.

Lisa,

Chunk 50% in AINN and 50% in RADAF and take a nap till Dec. 1 and awaken to 100+% gain in your portfolio.
As most anyone on SI could tell you, brokers are generally to busy selling to do any real research. The old, baby needs new shoes syndrome.

Have a great day!!!

Terry

Lisa

If you are truly a novice investor, this thread is the last place you should hang out. Many participants are rude, ruthless, egomaniacal, immature, and novice themselves but trying to convince otherwise. Serious posts are rare, and it would be difficult for a novice to tell what the heck is going on.

Start reading Investor Business Daily every day, religiously. Not with any particular agenda, just to absorb information. Save every month in whatever you want to save in. Where you put it is not so important as the putting itself. After a year or two, buy 100 shares of something from the Friday back page. Then do it again.

After ten years or so, you will be an experienced investor. Translation: You will have lost money in the stock market on one or more issues. It is my view that investors learn only from losing. Gains are wonderful, but tend to impart a false sense of having gained "the edge". Such thinking is usually followed by a loss. After a while, you'll see the pattern and will get better at avoiding loss.

If you are actually just a fake to add dimension to the thread, who cares. The advice still stands.

Lisa, cover because the shorts are cooked-just too stupid to realize it.

Even the Wall Street Journal article could not help.

Pink doesn't even know what the company does.

Pink used to Run Crazy Eddie until he fled to Israel several years ago. He is posting from an Israeli jail cell.
