Were I a longtime executive whose done bigtime things for bigtime companies but only got to play the second-fiddle, I'd love an exciting opportunity to be CEO of a New Age company that's got the power of advertising budgets behind it. Match this with the technical challenges for delivering quality advertising products over the internet, and we have a pretty good reason as to why Steve Lair would do this.

But, of course, this is an answer only for Lair himself.

Whatever the prior spin from Wired, you might also ask what specific interest Softbank Holding Company has in retaining 35% of SIM. Ozemail could be asked the same question for its seven percent. Another interesting question is: Do you think Doubleclick, and the very few others, can handle all internet advertising?

Folks, just curious as I continue my fascinating penny stock education by lurking here (and there) until April 11 when my free time expires and I turn into a pumpkin, or else I pony up the $125 to SI ...
heck, on that kind of speculative cash flow bubble about half of you (us) will short SI and the other half pump it ...

I admire the serious efforts at information gathering which at least in theory makes this endeavour potentially more predictable (and increases the odds against other bettors (read other uninformed investors) in your favour) ... that's not to say you can ever get over the break-even point against the house (read the real insiders and the MM's) but why not try ...

So Aleta's efforts at obtaining more of the goods on this Mr. (I lasted a whole year at Acer) Lair have to be applauded ... another useful lead might come from the now-departed Meatchem (sounds like a tenderizer) ... with a spelling like that, one of those tele directories free on the Net might turn this guy up near one of you folks, for a local call or a visit ... if his mouth is not stuffed full of golden parachute, paid 1/2 yearly to buy ongoing silence, he might have some honest, lawful inside (but not insider) info about his former employer ...

hey, it's potential info, and chewing on it would beat waiting for the spring financials to sprout, which is after all, getting a little old ...

now, whenever I post, the thread goes dead for two hours or so ... have a nice day and see you back tonight!!

There are many positive accomplishments made by Steve Lair, and I believe that his credentials show that he is a seasoned executive.

Jon, then why do you assume that Mr. Lair's move to Zulu-tek was not, in his opinion, a career building move? -- And why do you believe that you have enough information to make such assessments, and elude to accusations?

>> I do think it's odd that somebody at this level would only stay at a company like Acer for about a year, leaving to move to a penny-stock company of dubious repute.

If there is any negative, it would take some digging - you'd probably have to know people in the company. (Acer, that is.) <<

Jon, this company and management will prove itself over time, and we are at a point where you can't really make valuable comments, until filings can be made, and the business plan is understood...so either relax, or go away until another day.
