After sitting on the fence for the last couple weeks, I finally couldn't resist this morning's price. Nibbled a little; and sold some May 20 Puts just in case somebody wanted to pay me to buy more. ;-)

I've decided that the shortfall is probably due to the overall slowdown rather than SVGI's ability to produce tools or execute.

Time will tell.

Ian.

<James Word has some pals that work at Intel and has confirmed as much on one or more occasions.>

They really do seem to make quite a machine dont they? Don't really get this whole thing about lack of orders... although it appears that "micrascan" is basically a next generation tool (u.25, 300 mm, etc) and that has been slowed a bit? Whats your take on the INTC texas fab delay? Delayed 2 years, but will be a 300 mm project now. This whole delay of the next generation stuff doesnt appear good for the leading edge companies as stated by someone else (SVGI= leading edge?) but it seems that perhaps its just a buying opportunity since these things always do go ahead... and faster than people think.
