The current price of oil may make all oilsands
investors look for an alternative technology. The
outdated technology that, in addition, creates 'lakes
of death' is too expensive. If forced to clean up the
tailings ponds, some companies may wish to use the
Solv-Ex technology.

Mike, your post on aluminum was interesting. I had
similar thoughts as I read the Des Moines Register.

A good weekend to all.

Two hearings coming up. On March 31 there will be a joint US / Canadian hearing regarding the sale of the acid plant. The plant is rusting and losing value. I don't know how this fits into the mineral strategy. Solv is currently under gag order till reorg plan is filed. If there is a minerals deal (speculation) that partner(s) could have own strategy. Koch is in this part with 25%.

On April 1 a hearing is set for Kalimar's redemption of remaining Reg. S debentures. It is my understanding Solv is vigorously fighting based on shorting into the market in violation of contract and SEC regulations.

Trying to get a read on reorg filing date, maybe then we can start hearing from the company again and not just court tea leaves.
