Pierre,

In times of boom or bust, yields are the driving force behind the industry. The agrument could be made and the empirical evidence supports this(the move to 0.25 right now in the face of overcapacity and weak pricing), that yields(the prime determinant of costs) become even more crucial in a weak end market environment. The largest factor effecting yields is die size.

I think Tulvio addressed this four or five posts ago. <G>
