Hi Ross, Yes, word on "the street" is that he still stands behind the report. I could understand how he would be very angry about the challenge to his accuracy and ability, no matter how diplomatically, or otherwise, that it was discounted. To say that he was "simply wrong" was not particularly diplomatic. This man has a very good reputation for his abilities, and that is why so many investment houses use him to assess properties for them. This had to have been a blow to his professionalism. I guess professional courtesy does not allow for an open disagreement on the street, otherwise I'm sure there would have been more said. Perhaps it was because this particular world is smaller than one would think. The practice is to try not to cross swords with someone you may have to deal with in a future deal, even if it is just by dealing with the same investment house in different capacities and for different reasons....
