Any product that does not support Java Beans, even RMI, is clearly an inferior product. Using a dialog box editor circa 1985 is clearly an inferior product. Those who don't get, never got, and never will get the distinction between architecture and syntax will suck up anything that Microsoft throws them and be happy with it. These are the people who create products which are a nightmare to implement, maintain and extend. They are at the very heart of the software crisis and it's a little frustrating when you have to argue with the root cause of the problem itself.
