I'm not sure they have the goods. That's the part of the equation that most on this thread seem to accept without hesitation. From what I hear, Diablilos is not a lay down.

Hi Quinn, No promotion? That's what scares me, Quinn, is that they just wrapped up what was supposed to be a promotional tour to the PDA, Squaw Valley, and Miami, and this is the result. When they first came on board PFG their mandate, they said, was to take the speculation out of the stock, and we have to admit they have been very successful at that. :-)

What we have heard from management was a distinctly negative tone for a long time. The dismissal of the Z report, the down-sizing of the deposit, the dismissal of Cerro Blanco as a real gold potential property, possibly a j.v prospect, the absence of progress on La Colorada, either j.v or otherwise, the lack of work on the other properties, and the lack of exciting news overall, does not make for a positive sentiment for attracting new investors. Now we have Barrick halting the drills on the property until May. Don't forget that was the only property that had anything newsworthy and promotable being done on it. Everything else seems to be in limbo. How can you promote that?

No, it seems to me that we need some concrete evidence of some real progress being made by PFG itself, on some other properties, in order to have something else to induce potential purchasers to buy the stock, otherwise the promotion won't work. All we have is old news to sell right now. We need a much more positive attitude by management as well. They asked us to be patient when they first came aboard and we have been, but a year later I don't see any progress, other than the financings, which was successful only because of her success with Arequipa. Now the markets are saying, prove to us that you can do it again, because we don't like what we're seeing or hearing so far.

We need something to promote!

Cheers

Shirley
