No it was not. That merger fell apart because Oilex's assets were not being valued high enough. Management had second thoughts about the merger.

Now do I feel the current deal values Oilex fairly in terms of future production, No. But once merged I think current investors will be rewarded with a true valuation of future revenue streams. This return is probably about 1 year away as CAYC becomes a listed company on the new Nasdaq/Amex exchange. The bigger the company the more interest is generated with institutional investors. With institutional holdings I would expect much less volatility in the Stock Price!!

Here is my prediction: March 28, 1999 CAYC $15.00 per share. I'll bet the board $1,000 to be donated to charity that this will happen.
