Not sure if this is relevant but...this is part of a press release from MCIC on March 24 regarding FOX and MLB telecasts:

NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 26, 1998-- The high definition television (HDTV) broadcast of
Major League Baseball's 1998 opening day game between the Texas Rangers and Chicago White Sox on March 31 in
Arlington, Texas will be made possible in part by technology developed at Mitsubishi Electric Corp. and distributed by the
Digital Broadcasting Business America division of Mitsubishi Electric America Inc.

The Mitsubishi Electric MH1000 HDTV encoder will compress the signals from one of six HDTV cameras capturing the
action for transmission to KXAS-TV, serving the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, and to WHD-TV in Washington, D.C., a
high-definition test station, for a special demonstration to congressional representatives.
