How JimmyC, Doug was the first to point out the Vector Vest web site. From what I've seen the web site does a fairly good job of giving an overview of the investment value vs. risk conditions. An astute investor can make money no matter which way the stock is heading if they use the right tool from the tool shed. Example, stock going down buy PUTs or short the stock. Stock going up buy calls, sell PUTs and sell CCs at the right time. Stock going sideways sell CCs and wait. Someone else may know what they offer regular customers.
