Ian,

Probably a good move. Sorry for the probably but a couple of Q's/ comments:
1. which month for the options?
2. think this whole sector is being wacked at the slightest reason -
could be down more today since most domestic litho's/litho related ie. chemical mechanical planarization IPEC & SFAM down - somebody keeps talking about an aquisition then it's crap, so those stocks fall and on a down day SVGI probably goes with them.

3. An analyst and a broker-trader have said to be careful with the market in the next 3 to 4 weeks with earnings season. Drugs have been hit for 3 days now. Semi's already hit, but no good news in industry to give the sector some life. In drug sector, new drugs give then some life. Not that those people are right, but I kind of get the feeling te market could come off a little.

4. From above, I'd like to see SVG over the next 2 weeks and for it to base before buying. What I would do is straddle the damn thing (but I don;t want to buy just here knowing 2.&3.). Might want to sell 17.5 puts and further out if you want to be long. If it doesn't work keep the money. Also, when starts to rise sell some calls.

5. Read the S&P article posted in one of the messages above- not terribly encouraging for the industry.

On a positive note, so far, looks like # machines will be about 15 vs 20 for the quarter.

Mason, can your source at Intel confirm .14u tested by Intel and that was via SVGI. My source is SVGI employee - truthful. Your source could corroborate, then we can forget about all those .25u stories - the real thing is.18u and lower
