Hi Christine.

Thanks for your honest answer. I would think that in your heart you would prefer a daughter happily married to a nice young man over happily married to a lesbian (Ceteris peribus).

Of course I could be wrong. You are probably right that heterosexual men are more repulsed at homosexual men than lesbians. As a heterosexual father, the thought of homosexual sons would be heartbreaking to me. Am I homophobic? No - just grossed out.

Would I be happy if my daughters never slept with a man? Looking at their innocent smiles and purity - not so bad a thought. ( Selfish - I know - but fathers really don't like to think about these things.) I now know why all the girls fathers I dated in high school always seemed so distant - they didnt want to know.
