I agree. I luv my carver amps. But since Bob Carver left the company, I'm not sure I'd buy in. He had the vision. I hear he's doing his own thing now with Powered Subwoofers...

Joe: Good Luck with your WEB page. I haven't played any of your picks tho some sure DID look interesting. I think it will be interesting to see if you still have the ability to create the momentum with the "core" subscribers rather than pickin up the "lurkers" to add to the frenzie.....will be interesting to watch. best of luck

Joe, I must say that I value all you have to say and have a lot to learn from you, until you begin to speak of audio quality.... I am sure that consumer ignorance makes Carver the "high end" of audio products... but I would NEVER consider Carver stuff for a nanosecond in MY application in a pro studio.... There are much better acoustically 'flat" amps for less money, but those companies are not worth looking at from a stock perspective. That said, I went for cavr and would do it again in a new yotk minute. A quality stock, but not REALLY a sound choice for your audiophile stereo... (pun fully intended)
