Good Question. Down 3/16?!? I'm tired of watching this stock day to day. Wake me in 6 months when something happens.

Good as time as any to buy into SEEQ. When Eeprom stuff was big they had a nice 400% rise. If Gigahertz net come on as strong as it looks like we will get a rise up to over $6. I agree with Ragu that this is not a stock to watch every day, but I certainly want it in my portfolio when it takes off. Long term acquire in my book.

One amateur to another, so don't think this is from some kind of expert. My buy-in price is just under one dollar.

Dave,

On January 15th the company said,

Commenting on the Q1 results, Phil Salsbury, SEEQ's president and chief executive officer, said: ''We are pleased that both our revenues and net income improved over the same period last year. Looking at our results sequentially, however, inventory corrections at certain major customers led to lower revenues this quarter.

''At the same time, we achieved higher gross margins, our best since 1988, while our book-to-bill ratio stayed well above unity. We continue to build momentum with design wins on our 100Base-Tx Physical Layer product and our Gigabit Ethernet Controller.''

If the inventory corrections are over and the momentum continued we should (I hope) see some nice earnings in about two weeks.

The best,

Marc
