I understand what you are saying. I do not think one needs to approve of homosexual behavior. Of course I personally think if you do not wish homosexual people to engage in homosexual sex you are either condemning them to celibacy or forcing them in to loveless relationships with partners they will not be happy with.

However, I would never force you to believe acting out homosexual behaviors is good, and you personally should not have to associate privately with homosexuals if you don't want to. But I personally, think it is wrong to discriminate against homosexuals for jobs, and to deny them the benefits heterosexual couples have. So the thoughts are fine, but acting upon them to the detriment of your fellow citizens is not. Just as I would not, in a homosexual world, want homosexuals to discriminate against me (leaving aside the obvious procreative problems in such a scenario).

Only love is right.

Dwight I think your idea of love is an unusual one, when you speak of loving homosexuals. I seem to recall you have stated that you wouldn't hire one in your home. That it was not acceptable as public policy, but was ok for you.

What kind of love is that that would deny someone, not on the basis of their ability to do a job, but on their sexual preference. Is that what Jesus would have done?
