" Donald Norman, an old line human interface guy.." His stuff is good. Another place where people are trying to redo the current interface paradigm is lifestreams.com This is an outfit started by D. Gelernter. Their premise is that it is too cumbersome to manage all the information by hand and to automate all that. Basically to make the computer invisible and concentrate on what people actually do and need. Needless to say this is not a Microsoft design goal. Productivity at the workplace doesn't seem to interest them. Thure
