Yup, there is a definite aroma of a candle burning at both ends. Even if not a top, surely there will be a violent correction. The big question is when. Having blown it by staying in cash for quite some time now (other than the fact the stocks I follow tanked), I am not anxious to be the last one buying.

Spots;
<<With that lead-in, it's probably senseless (sorry) to ask if anyone else sniffs the wind this way, but I ask anyhow ...>>

Here is a kindred soul. Also happens to be one I listen to very carefully.

I heard a lot of people calling top, how momentous of the predicted top would depend on the general outlook. Market reaction to economic trivia would indicate a sentiment shift, overbought indicators, etc. Blow-off for Manugistics and the professional shorts haven't been properly fed, yet. On a small pullback the warnings will come out of the woodwork and we might lay a foundation for a "wall of worry" that's been absent for some time. (The dike broke when the HangSeng recovered.)
