I agree with you. If institutions had dumped this 36k at the lower price in two trades near the market close, who were the buyers? It's not likely that they were the individual investors, but it's possible for the institution to load the large shares from individuals within the short period of time. Another possibility is that there might be a trick played by two MMs, by just swapping the same shares between them. Who knows what happened today and why?

You're right about reading the volume tea leaves. The only time I've ever been able to predict anything based on blocks or volume is in hindsight. Jackson
