MCI could'nt carry there price forever, regardless of there strategy
or lack thereof. There profits are largely from switched long distance.
IP will eat into those margins, meaning MCI revenues will go
down . MCI stockholders expectations won't be matched...the
company had to be purchased ...IP and RBOC competition would
reduce their eps considerably. LVLT has no market share now,
so we can match expectations rather easily...if MCI were left
alone they would be in trouble
